Welcome to the 2008 Saint Sophia Greek Festival, Miami.
Saint Sophia welcomes you to our 2008 Festival where we are proud to share our food, our music and our culture with our friends in South Florida. Enjoy some mouthwatering ethnic dinners, topped off with a variety of delicious pastries. In the patio, enjoy some excellent souvlaki and loukaniko. Sample the honey puffs, rice pudding and fragrant Greek coffee, along with a Baklava Sundae. Visit our vendors who are displaying jewelry, Byzantine icons, silver, and T-shirts.
The kids will enjoy our games and rides in the area next to the parking lot. The Greek grocery store offers wine from Greece, olive oil and a good selection of cheeses, spoon sweets and mountain Oregano. You will shout OPA! when you watch our famous Greek dancers show our visitors ethnic folk dances. Welcome to Saint Sophia.
Welcome
Stepping out from the heavenly interior of a Byzantine cathedral and gazing up towards the sky… driving along the southernmost end of I-95 just past downtown and the Brickell business district… flying over the neon skyline of the Magic City…a new glistening landmark dots the old landscape of our fair city—the golden domes of Saint Sophia Cathedral.
